Hypnotherapist in Dubai

Hypnotherapy is used in the treatment of emotional, physical and psychological disorders, unwanted habits and negative thinking.  It stands out from other forms of therapies because is addresses your subconscious mind to affect change in your daily life.

Hypnosis is a natural phenomenon. It is a state of mind which allows positive change, recovery and healing processes to occur more easily than our normal busy brain often allows.

Hypnosis is like a trance state. It is a very normal state for the mind you know the feeling when you ‘zone out’ and daydream? it’s the same state. Hypnotherapy mimics this process by relaxing your conscious mind. It isn’t a cult, not religious, not magic – it is a recognised science and as part of our free initial consultation – we will explain more of exactly how it works and how it can support change.

If you have a long-lasting problem that you cannot solve, hypnotherapy enables us to get to the root cause of the problem or symptom more easily, allowing the issue to be resolved at a deeper level, more rapidly than therapy without hypnosis might allow.

Your conscious ‘thinking’ mind will become more relaxed and out of the way, allowing your subconscious mind to become more open and receptive to positive suggestions which are designed to help you change behaviour. These positive suggestions will embed more easily in hypnosis than in your usual waking state.

Anyone can be effectively hypnotised – only if they want to be. It is a natural brain state that human beings have an natural inbuilt ability to enter into. All you need is the desire and curiosity to experience hypnosis to benefit from it.

Hypnosis refers to the natural brain state, or the actual phenomenon itself,. Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis within a therapeutic experience to help people make positive changes and resolve difficulties in a lasting and safe way. Just being in hypnotic state does not achieve anything but an experienced therapist knows how to best use this hypnotic state to effect positive change.

There is absolutely no need to worry – you will be fully in control at all times. Think of it like a deep daydream and, as with daydreaming, you still retain control, in fact, in hypnosis you will experience being in more control than you may have previously experienced. No hypnotherapist can make you do, say, feel or think anything you don’t want to.

This simply cannot happen and is not a possibility in hypnotherapy. You are 100 per cent in control and apart from feeling so relaxed that you may snooze through part of it, you are not in any danger of not waking up or doing irreversible damage.

Hypnosis is a very pleasant, relaxed state in which you are more aware of your internal experience than the world around you – it feels similar to that day-dreaming feeling when you get really absorbed in a book, a hobby or music. All people will experience it slightly differently. Some will find it deeply, physically relaxin; others will find it a creative and dream-like experience, some will feel quite conscious during the session while others may slip into a light state of sleep. There is no right or wrong, but most people agree that hypnotherapy is one of the most deeply relaxing experiences imaginable.

It depends from person to person, but many people start experiencing the benefits immediately. Some people even notice positive change in areas of their life that they weren’t even expecting.

Hypnosis is actually a very mentally active state and so is quite different from sleep. People remain fully aware of their surroundings and can recall what happens in each session, although a few people who relax more deeply may feel as if they drift in and out of sleep momentarily.

Most clients will remember the vast majority of what goes on during the hypnotherapy session. There may be times when your unconscious mind, or the hypnotherapist may delay your full recall for your own interest and best outcomes.

Yes – it is strictly confidential. One of the main features of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is that we try not to discuss aspects of your life that put you in a negative place in order to create the optimum amount of change. You don’t need to worry about the therapy being awkward or delving into personal issues you would rather not discuss.

This depends on the individual but as a broad rule, ‘Stop Smoking’ is one session, ‘Fears and Phobias’ is two or three sessions and all other conditions, generally, from one to four sessions. This will all be explored in your initial consultation.

This really does depend on the person as everyone and their problems are unique.

Most issues will need a few hours work together for lasting positive change, although some highly motivated clients can achieve excellent results in a very short period of time. As a brief, highly interventional therapist, my aim is always to help you make genuine, lasting, positive change safely in the shortest time that is possible for you.
